Resumo: The traditional methods of evaluating entrepreneurial behavior carry a degree of uncertainty and significant subjectivity with several uncontrollable independent variables. In face of this fragility, the fuzzy logic can be a tool that contributes to the understanding of the degree of pertinence regarding the entrepreneurial behavior of the individual. In order to contribute in this direction, this study aimed to develop a model of measurement of the entrepreneurial behavior from behavioral characteristics and entrepreneurial intention. An applied, quantitative, descriptive and exploratory study was carried out. In order to satisfy the problem raised, already validated data collection instruments were used, the questionnaire on entrepreneurial behavioral characteristics (EBC), developed by McClelland (MANSFIELD et al., 1987), and the questionnaire of entrepreneurial intentions of Liñán and Chen (2009). These instruments were answered by undergraduate students of the Federal University of Santa Maria. The sample consisted of 2,519 research subjects. The internal consistency of the scales was measured by the Alpha Cronbach Coefficient, ensuring reliability to the measurement and evaluation of the constructs. Initially the analysis was performed through descriptive statistics for entrepreneurial behavioral characteristics and for entrepreneurial intention the traditional method, where the behavioral characteristics and respective dimensions of the students were identified. It was verified that more than 90% of the students present entrepreneurial behavioral characteristics and that they intend to start a business. Then, through the modeling of structural equations, the model for the measurement of entrepreneurial intention was revalidated. From this, behavioral characteristics and entrepreneurial intention were related and a structural model for entrepreneurial behavior was developed. Based on the modeling of structural equations for entrepreneurial behavior, the premises for the development of the fuzzy model were elaborated. In this study, a fuzzy model was developed to measure entrepreneurial behavior through entrepreneurial behavioral characteristics and entrepreneurial intention. The model developed follows a set of linguistic variables, pertinence functions, fuzzification method and defuzzification, which are the component elements of the fuzzy logic. The fuzzy modeling was built in MATLAB from the Fuzzy Toolbox. For the construction of this fuzzy model of measurement of the entrepreneurial behavior the Mamdani method was used, with defuzzification by means of the Centroid method. The fuzzy model of measurement of entrepreneurial behavior was configured and then tested in Simulink environment. In fuzzy modeling, the percentage of students with entrepreneurial behavior fell to 83%; in addition, 4% were considered "perhaps entrepreneurs" and 13% of students did not present entrepreneurial behavior. The fuzzy model of measurement of entrepreneurial behavior proved adequate for such measurement. Finally, the results of the fuzzy measurement model developed and the traditional method of evaluation by the average were compared, where it was verified that the fuzzy modeling is more detailed and more reliable compared to the traditional analysis method. It is concluded that the objective was reached and that the fuzzy model developed is adequate to measure entrepreneurial behavior. In an unprecedented way, the fuzzy model of measurement of the entrepreneurial behavior can contribute as an alternative tool in the behavioral evaluation of the individuals. From this research, the search for different ways of analyzing the entrepreneurial behavior against the traditional statistical models used is promising. The research was limited to the construction of a model of measurement of entrepreneurial behavior from the instruments answered by undergraduate students from a public higher education institution. Future studies may expand the constructs addressed in the fuzzy model, as well as be replicated in other institutions of higher or basic education in order to compare, deepen and make new findings, in addition to considering a longitudinal follow-up of the entrepreneurial behavioral evolution of the individuals surveyed.

Diante dessa fragilidade a lógica fuzzy pode ser um ferramental que contribui para o entendimento do grau de pertinência quanto ao comportamento empreendedor do indivíduo. A fim de contribuir nessa direção, este estudo teve como objetivo desenvolver um modelo de mensuração do comportamento empreendedor a partir de características comportamentais e intenção empreendedoras. Para alcançar esse objetivo realizou-se um estudo aplicado, quantitativo, descritivo e exploratório. No intuito de satisfazer a problemática levantada utilizou-se instrumentos de coleta de dados já validados, sendo o questionário de características comportamentais empreendedoras (CCE’s), desenvolvido por McClelland (MANSFIELD et al., 1987), e o questionário de intenção empreendedora de Liñán e Chen (2009). Estes instrumentos foram respondidos por alunos de graduação da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. A amostra foi composta por 2.519 sujeitos de pesquisa. A consistência interna das escalas foi avaliada pelo Coeficiente de Alfa Cronbach, atestando fidedignidade para a medida e avaliação dos construtos. Inicialmente realizou-se a análise por meio de estatística descritiva para características comportamentais empreendedoras e intenção empreendedora, método tradicional. Momento em que se identificou as características comportamentais e respectivas dimensões dos estudantes, verificou-se que mais de 90% dos alunos apresentam características comportamentais empreedendoras e que têm intenção de empreender. Em seguida, por meio da modelagem de equações estruturais, revalidou-se o modelo para mensuração da intenção empreendedora. A partir disso relacionou-se características comportamentais e intenção empreendedoras desenvolvendo-se um modelo estrutural para comportamento empreendedor. Alicerçado na modelagem de equações estruturais para o comportamento empreendedor foram elaboradas as premissas para o desenvolvimento do modelo fuzzy. Neste estudo desenvolveuse um modelo fuzzy para mensuração do comportamento empreendedor por meio das características comportamentais empreendedoras e da intenção empreendedora. O modelo desenvolvido segue um conjunto de variáveis linguísticas, funções de pertinência, método de fuzzificação e defuzzificação, que são os elementos componentes da lógica fuzzy. A modelagem fuzzy foi construída no MATLAB a partir do ferramental Fuzzy Toolbox. Para a construção deste modelo fuzzy de mensuração do comportamento empreendedor utilizou-se o método Mamdani, com defuzzificação por meio do método Centróide. O modelo fuzzy de mensuração do comportamento empreendedor foi configurado e em seguida testado no Simulink. Na modelagem fuzzy o percentual de alunos com comportamento empreendedor caiu para 83%, além disso, 4% foram considerados como talvez empreendedores e 13% dos alunos não apresentaram comportamento empreendedor. O modelo fuzzy de mensuração do comportamento empreendedor se mostrou adequado para tal medição. Por fim, comparou-se os resultados do modelo fuzzy de mensuração desenvolvido e o método tradicional de avaliação pela média, na qual constatou-se que a modelagem fuzzy é mais detalhada e mais fidedigna frente ao método de análise tradicional. Se conclui que o objetivo foi alcançado e que o modelo fuzzy desenvolvido é adequado para mensurar o comportamento empreendedor. De maneira inédita, o modelo fuzzy de mensuração do comportamento empreendedor pode contribuir como uma ferramenta alternativa na avaliação comportamental dos indivíduos. A partir desta pesquisa demonstra-se promissora a busca de diferentes maneiras de análise do comportamento empreendedor frente aos modelos estatísticos tradicionais utilizados. A pequisa limitou-se a construção de um modelo de mensuração do comportamento empreendedor a partir dos instrumentos respondidos por alunos de graduação, de uma instituição de ensino superior pública. Estudos futuros podem ampliar os constructos abordados no modelo fuzzy, bem como ser replicado em outras instituições de ensino superior ou básico no intuito de comparação, aprofundamento e novos achados, além de considerar um acompanhamento longitudinal da evolução comportamental empreendedora dos indivíduos pesquisados.porUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências Sociais e HumanasPrograma de Pós-Graduação em AdministraçãoUFSMBrasilAdministraçãoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessComportamento empreendedorCaracterísticas comportamentais empreendedorasIntenção empreendedoraLógica fuzzyEntrepreneurial behaviorEntrepreneurial behavioral characteristicsEntrepreneurial intentionFuzzy logicCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::ADMINISTRACAOModelo de mensuração do comportamento empreendedor a partir das características comportamentais e intenção empreendedorasModel of measurement of entrepreneurial behavior from behavioral characteristics and entrepreneurial intentioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesisMinello, Italo Fernandohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/4814569149407147Scarton, Luciana MariaPereira, João Antônio GomesSchaefer, RicardoSiluk, Júlio Cezar Mairessehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/6624622324083659Krüger, Cristiane60020000000660077487634-0023-4ace-8f71-49491d4c00baa4dfdfc9-2d96-4b86-900c-47036d6194ed406c9edf-6d9d-4ca5-b2aa-dc10fa5e5b74778e0ffb-c490-4f7c-bdf6-5aca9d7b18fa975b092e-adae-4731-bdae-03e808146962c302cea5-0cf2-496c-a648-ae22629af29freponame:Manancial - Repositório Digital da UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMCC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
