Resumo: | Childbirth as a physiological event of the sexual and reproductive life of women, must be accompanied and assisted so that it is experienced actively, exercising the role of protagonist of the process. In this way, the guiding question is: What are the motivations for the autonomous actions of women in the birth and birth process? As an objective, it seeks to apprehend the motivations of the autonomous actions of women in the process of birth and birth. It is a qualitative research, based on the social phenomenology of Alfred Schütz as a theoretical-methodological reference. In the southern region of Brazil, it had as scenario a university hospital. The phenomenological interview was used as a technique for data production with 15 puerperal women who were hospitalized in joint accommodation, in the period from September to December 2017. Analysis of the data occurred according to the basics of the adopted referential and with productions related to the object of study . The results show that the "reasons why" of the actions of women during the process of birth and birth both those actions during pregnancy and during labor occur due to fear of what they heard or because in previous births there was Pain complications and unwanted interventions. For the link with the companion and because he has experience or experience with the process of birth and birth. The reasons for the autonomous actions of women are aimed at receiving physical emotional support from the companion from the pregnancy, they want a calm delivery with less pain, fast and without interventions. And they intend to do the right things for the welfare of the child and that after the birth they are painless and active to take care of the children. We conclude that the autonomous actions of women in the process of birth and birth are inscribed in a social reality and are influenced by their specific biographical situation, and that their actions begin before pregnancy, in order to exercise their autonomy. And that this depends on the relationship with the professionals, when they stimulate the protagonism of women through a face-to-face relationship, or when they reinforce the submission of women when they submit the guidelines and adapt their behavior to what is placed in the institutions. |

Dessa forma, tem-se como questão norteadora: Quais as motivações das ações autônomas das mulheres no processo de parto e nascimento? Como objetivo, busca-se apreender as motivações das ações autônomas das mulheres no processo de parto e nascimento. Trata-se de uma investigação qualitativa, fundamentada na fenomenologia social de Alfred Schütz como referencial teórico-metodológico. Teve como cenário um hospital universitário na região sul do Brasil. Utilizou-se como técnica para produção de dados a entrevista fenomenológica com 15 puérperas que estavam internadas em alojamento conjunto, no período de setembro a dezembro de 2017. Análise dos dados ocorreu conforme os fundamentos do referencial adotado e com produções relacionadas com o objeto de estudo. Os resultados demostram que os “motivos porque” das ações das mulheres durante o processo de parto e nascimento tanto aquelas ações durante a gestação como durante o trabalho de parto ocorrem devido ao medo daquilo que ouviu falar ou porque nos partos anteriores teve dor complicações e intervenções não desejadas. Pelo vínculo com o acompanhante e porque esse possui experiência ou vivência com processo de parto e nascimento. Já os motivos para das ações autônomas das mulheres tem em vista receber apoio físico emocional do acompanhante desde a gestação, desejam um parto tranquilo com menos dor, rápido e sem intervenções. E pretendem fazer as coisas certas para o bem estar do filho e que após o parto estejam sem dor e ativas para cuidar dos filhos. Concluímos que as ações autônomas das mulheres no processo de parto e nascimento estão inscritas em uma realidade social e são influenciadas pela sua situação biográfica determinada, e que suas ações iniciam desde antes da gestação, tendo em vista exercer sua autonomia. E que essa depende da relação com os profissionais, quando estes estimulam o protagonismo das mulheres por meio de uma relação face a face, ou quando reforçam a submissão das mulheres quando estas se sujeitam as diretrizes e adequam seu comportamento ao que está posto nas instituições.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências da SaúdePrograma de Pós-Graduação em EnfermagemUFSMBrasilEnfermagemAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessPartoSaúde materno-infantilAutonomia pessoalPesquisa qualitativaFenomenologiaFilosofiaEnfermagemParturitionMaternal and child healthPersonal autonomyQualitative researchPhenomenologyPhilosophyNursingCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::ENFERMAGEMAutonomia feminina no processo de parto e nascimento: estudo fenomenológico na perspectiva das mulheresFemale autonomy in the birth and birth process: a phenomenological study in the perspective of womeninfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisPadoin, Stela Maris de Mellohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/6899455553008245Alves, Valdecyr HerdyPaula, Cristiane Cardoso dehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/0056682300900458Honnef, Fernanda400400000000600600600600600c7e9034f-5439-4133-bdb5-22e59b18db16ab9ef0bb-701a-4627-bf68-d00cbaef724ad708b7a1-4428-42dd-971d-9b0402354cfc705afdbb-b636-4629-8453-9b96dafb4bf9reponame:Repositório Institucional Manancial UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2019_HONNEF_FERNANDA.pdfDIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2019_HONNEF_FERNANDA.pdfDissertaçãoapplication/pdf1852703http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/21189/1/DIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2019_HONNEF_FERNANDA.pdf530d55803e74dba928deec5d118ec353MD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
