This work aims to analyze the socio-environmental impacts that compromise the conservation of the Bandeira Stream in Campo Grande-MS.  A bibliographic survey, mapping of the research area by satellite images, maps and tables for data organization were carried out. The Bandeira Stream is part of the Hydrographic Basin of the Bandeira Stream, one of the most important in Campo Grande, where the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) is located. The stream has been constantly suffering from urban expansion and anthropic activities around it that generate environmental impacts, namely: deforestation of its banks; silting; flooding; loss of water quality; pollution of the banks and foul odor. More studies and the creation and implementation of conservation strategies are necessary, as well as the sensitization of people to promote the reduction of impacts that interfere with the quality of the stream.
