The assessment of fraitly in urban stormwater drainage system: the case of the watershed of Melancias in Montes Claros – MG

Resumo: The fragility of a system based on different principles, can be used as policy in public policies aimed at planning, management and decision making. In this sense, the present study aims to evaluate the weakness in the watershed of the stream of Melancias by applying the Fragility Index System - IFS under the system of urban stormwater drainage of the basin, paying attention to: i) identify the elements and possible failures of micro and macro drainage through photographic record and ii) adapt, implement and evaluate IFS to obtain the degree of fragility of urban storm drainage in the watershed of the stream of Melancias. This study relied on the Fragility Index System - FIS in identifying factors that influence the urban stormwater drainage system. This study were taken 3 Points Study - on-site visit by PEs within their watershed, and to identify the elements faults micro and macro drainage and adapt and apply IFS to obtain the degree of fragility in the stream of Melancias basin. Were identified and the elements of micro and macro drainage with their flaws and found the degree of fragility Very Strong. We conclude that with this efficient methodology, it is possible to identify gaps in urban stormwater drainage systems in the basin; and this requires greater attention in the correction and prevention of waterlogging and flooding.

Neste sentido, o presente estudo tem por objetivo avaliar a fragilidade na bacia hidrográfica do córrego das Melancias por meio da aplicação do Índice de Fragilidade do Sistema – IFS sob o sistema de drenagem pluvial urbana da referida bacia, se atentando a: i) identificar os elementos e as possíveis falhas de micro e macrodrenagem por meio de registro fotográfico e ii) adaptar, aplicar e avaliar os IFS para se obter o grau de fragilidade da drenagem pluvial urbana na bacia hidrográfica do córrego das Melancias. Este estudo apoiou-se no Índice de Fragilidade do Sistema – IFS na identificação de fatores que influenciam no sistema de drenagem pluvial urbano. Neste estudo foram tomados 3 Pontos de Estudo – PEs mediante visita in loco na bacia em questão, para identificar os elementos e as falhas de micro e macrodrenagem e adaptar e aplicar IFS para se obter o grau de fragilidade na bacia do córrego das Melancias. Foram identificados e os elementos de micro e macrodrenagem com suas respectivas falhas e encontrou-se o grau de fragilidade Muito Forte.
