Evaluation of Thermal Performance and Energy Efficiency in Housing in Residential Condominium from Cuiabá/MT

Resumo: | This article determines the level of thermal performance and energy efficiency of a Cuiabá/MT housing of a residential condominium, located in a region in urban evolution. The study building has 57m ² and consists of walls of precast panels, slab subfloor on grounded soil liner and cover slab of metal frame with ceramic tiles. Measurement periods were 06/28/13 to 07/12/13 (hot dry) and from 12/30/13 to 01/14/14 (hot and humid). To record external and internal data, micrometeorological station and sets HOBO U12-012 with TMC20HD cable and sphere were used. For the evaluation of the thermal performance and energy efficiency was considered the methods of measurement and simplified by NBR15575 and the simulation method by RTQ -R. The EnergyPlus (8.1.0) was used for the thermal energy simulations. The living room has the worst performance and the double room the best. By the measurement method yielded higher levels for the bedroom and home office and intermediary for the living room. The simplified method, the walls had minimum coverage and didn’t meet the criteria. The building got C-level for energy efficiency. |

The building got C-level for energy efficiency.Este artigo determina o desempenho térmico e o nível de eficiência energética de uma habitação de Cuiabá/MT de um condomínio residencial, localizado em uma região em evolução urbana. A edificação de estudo possui área de ocupação de 57m² e é composta por paredes de painéis pré-moldados, laje de contrapiso sobre o solo aterrado, forro de laje e cobertura de estrutura metálica com telhas cerâmicas. Os períodos de medição foram de 28/06/13 a 12/07/13 (quente seco) e de 30/12/13 a 14/01/14 (quente úmido). Para o registro dos dados externos e internos, foram utilizados estação Micrometeorológica e conjuntos de HOBO U12-012 com cabo TMC20HD e esfera acoplada. Para a avaliação do desempenho térmico e eficiência energética considerou-se os métodos de medição e simplificado da NBR15575 e o método de simulação do RTQ-R. O EnergyPlus (8.1.0) foi utilizado para as simulações termoenergéticas. A sala de estar possui o pior desempenho e o quarto de casal o melhor. Pelo método da medição, obtiveram-se níveis superiores para o quarto de casal e home office e intermediário para a sala de estar. Pelo método simplificado, as paredes apresentaram nível mínimo e a cobertura não atendeu ao critério.
