The work on the Pedagogical Practices and the Development of Environmental Responsibility in theCommunity School of the State Institute Professor. nd NENA - CIEP Sapiranga - RS. Initially wecarried out a study to diagnose the key social and environmental problems, there have beenawareness activities at school, community and environmentally sustainable practices. To completean evaluation took place in the depositions of willing participants in the actions of the study. Thestudy aims to raise awareness in the community, identify perceptions about environmentalresponsibility, develop initiatives for guidance on sustainable actions. Justified by the necessity ofenvironmental awareness in view of environmental problems facing the school community.Participated in this study, managers, educators, students and school community members of theState Institute Professor. NENA - CIEP. The method used was qualitative work with descriptions andinterpretations. The instrument used was a theoretical study and analysis of statements from theparticipants, based on the literature on the subject. The study results show that there is still not anenvironmental awareness and responsibility, which contributes to the worsening of environmentalproblems in the socio-environmental context.
