Resumo: The present work analyzes, from the bibliometric point of view, a panorama on the world scene and especially in the scope of Brazil about the term “territorial planning”. Based on the application of bibliometric metrics from the Scopus database. As a result, from the discussion realized, it was verified the absence, or incipience, of publications [articles] that deal with territorial planning, participation and communication. And thus, it is intended to encourage new and more discussions on this subject.

Se basa en la aplicación de métrica de bibliometría desde la base de datos Scopus. Como resultado de la discusión realizada, se ha comprobado la ausencia, o incipiente, de las publicaciones [artículos] que estudian la planificación territorial, la participación y la comunicación. Con eso, se objetiva incentivar nuevas y más discusiones sobre este tema.O presente trabalho analisa, do ponto de vista bibliométrico, um panorama no cenário mundial e especialmente no âmbito do Brasil sobre o termo “territorial planning”.
