Resumo: | The herbaceous and shrub species with medicinal potential occuring in a 6 years old secondary vegetation, located in Quedas do Rio Bonito Forest Park, Lavras, MG, Brazil, had its above-ground biomass production evaluated in 60 plots of 0,5 x 0,5 m (0,25 m2). There were found 7 species distributed into 5 botanical families. The verification of the habit indicated 4 herbaceous and 3 shrub species. The total above-ground production was 1740,0 kg.ha-1. It was verified that the area of secondary vegetation studied has potential for supplying raw material of vegetal source for medicinal use. |
