Study-work adjustment: analysis to the UAB/UFSM graduates

Resumo: The study analyzes the adjustment between work and education of graduates in the Open University of Brazil in the Federal University of Santa Maria. Methodologically were applied descriptive analysis; factor analysis and binary logistic regression analysis. From 179 respondents, the most graduates were performing activities related to their study, with 84.6% of the graduates are in horizontal match, 81.9% in mere vertical match and 74.5% in full match. The mains characteristics of the work that influenced both the vertical and horizontal adjustment were type of employer, economic sector of work and the professor. To the horizontal adjustment, the main impact was being employed as a teacher, as form vertical and total, the economic sector of employment was the determinant main.

Metodologicamente, foram aplicadas análise descritiva, análise fatorial e regressão logística. A maior parte dos egressos estão desempenhando atividades relacionadas ao seu estudo, com 84,6% em ajuste horizontal, 81,9% em ajuste vertical e 74,5% em ajuste total. As características do trabalho que influenciaram, tanto o ajuste vertical, quanto o horizontal, foram o tipo de empregador, o setor econômico do emprego e o grupo de ocupação.
