Professors in higher education: re-signifying the differences

Resumo: The representation of professors in Brazilian higher education is unequal according to statistical data from the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (BRASIL, 2020) regarding gender, race, ethnicities, people with disabilities and gender identities. This occurs for different historical, cultural contexts and in what it concerns to patterns and differences. We seek in this study a dialogue with Marx, Vygotsky and Deleuze, thinkers who highlight important concepts to the pertinent discussion to reflect the reality of education contemporaneity. The aim of this study is to analyze the theoretical guidelines that address the difference, education and work, dialoguing with the presence of different identity groups in higher education teaching. This is a descriptive qualitative research and is characterized as a bibliographic research. The research results highlight the importance of discussion and exposure of differences, which do not configure the Brazilian higher education scenario, due to homogenization, which hinders the entry of university professors considered non-standard, as well as profitability and existing commercialization in the educational sphere. The normative society needs to be transformed so that the differences do not prevent to employment and that there are equal conditions for positions in education.

Esto ocurre por diferentes aspectos históricos, culturales y en lo que se trata de patrones y diferencias. En este estudio, buscamos un diálogo con pensadores Marx, Vygotsky y Deleuze, quienes resaltan conceptos importantes para la discusión relevante con el fin de reflejar la realidad de la educación contemporánea. El propósito de este estudio es analizar los lineamientos teóricos que abordan la diferencia, la educación y el trabajo, con la presencia de diferentes grupos identitarios en la enseñanza de la educación superior. Se trata de una investigación descriptiva cualitativa y se caracteriza por una búsqueda de literatura. Los resultados de la encuesta destacan la importancia de discutir y exponer diferencias, que no configuran el escenario de La educación superior brasileña, debido a la homogeneización, que dificulta al ingreso de los profesores universitarios considerados no estándar, así como la rentabilidad y comercialización existente en el ámbito educativo. La sociedad normativa necesita ser transformada para que las diferencias no sean un impedimento para el empleo y que haya igualdad de condiciones para los puestos en educación.A representação de professores no ensino superior brasileiro é desigual de acordo com os dados estatísticos do Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (BRASIL, 2020) quanto ao gênero, à raça, etnias, pessoas com deficiência e identidades de gênero. Isto ocorre por diversos contextos históricos, culturais e no que concerne a padrões e diferenças. Buscamos neste estudo um diálogo com os pensadores Marx, Vygotsky e Deleuze, que destacam conceitos importantes à discussão pertinente para refletirmos a realidade da contemporaneidade educacional. O objetivo deste estudo é analisar os norteadores teóricos que abordam a diferença, educação e o trabalho, dialogando com a presença dos diferentes grupos identitários na docência da educação superior. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa de cunho descritivo e caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa bibliográfica. Os resultados provenientes da pesquisa destacam a importância da discussão e exposição das diferenças, que não configuram o cenário da educação superior brasileira, devido à homogeneização, que dificulta o ingresso de professores universitários considerados fora do padrão, bem como a lucratividade e mercantilização existente no âmbito educacional.
