Resumo: | The number of enrollments of students with special educational needs in the Cederj Consortium has been growing every year. Consequently, there is a need for planning and curricular and service adjustments, promoting access and breaking down barriers. In face-to-face service centers, these barriers can be physical, architectural, communicational or even attitudinal. The aim of the study was to analyze the space of Polo Cederj in Niterói, which, as a municipal school, has already been considered a reference in accessibility. It was verified that this Hub is still a reference in the specialized educational service for basic education, with specific rooms for this public on the ground floor. For Cederj students, who occupy the upper floors, the Polo needs adjustments such as replacement of safety bars on the ramp and in the elevator, placement of a tactile floor to serve people with visual impairments, as well as a toilet, sink and furniture suitable for people with physical disabilities, providing general access for the public seeking training in higher education institutions. |

Universidade Federal de Santa Maria2023-03-31info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdftext/htmlhttp://periodicos.ufsm.br/educacaoespecial/article/view/6740910.5902/1984686X67409Special Education Magazine; Vol. 36 No. 1 (2023): Revista Educação Especial – Publicação Contínua – Qualis – A2; e9/1-20Revista de Educación Especial; Vol. 36 Núm. 1 (2023): Revista Educação Especial – Publicação Contínua – Qualis – A2; e9/1-20Revista Educação Especial; v. 36 n. 1 (2023): Revista Educação Especial – Publicação Contínua – Qualis – A2; e9/1-201984-686Xreponame:Revista Educação Especial (UFSM)instname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMporhttp://periodicos.ufsm.br/educacaoespecial/article/view/67409/52059http://periodicos.ufsm.br/educacaoespecial/article/view/67409/52062Copyright (c) 2023 Revista Educação Especialhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessPerdigão, Luciana TavaresLima, Neusa Rejane WilleFernandes, Ediclea Mascarenhas2023-05-23T13:23:52Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/67409Revistahttps://periodicos.ufsm.br/educacaoespecialPUBhttp://cascavel.ufsm.br/revistas/ojs-2.2.2/index.php/educacaoespecial/oaieducacaoespecial@smail.ufsm.br||clenioberni@gmail.com1984-686X1808-270Xopendoar:2023-05-23T13:23:52Revista Educação Especial (UFSM) - Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)false |
