Elaboração e validação de uma escala para mensuração do comportamento inovador no contexto da indústria 4.0

Resumo: | Innovative behavior is essential in the context of Industry 4.0, as the technological revolution brings with it the need for new ways of thinking, creating and producing. With the evolution of technologies and systems, companies need to adapt quickly and find creative solutions to emerging challenges. Therefore, the objective of this study is to develop and validate a scale to measure Innovative Behavior in the context of Industry 4.0. Therefore, the methodological structure consists of an applied, descriptive and exploratory research. As for the nature of the data, this is classified as quantitative, with data collection carried out through a survey (survey), which was applied to 476 employees of a metalworking industry. A research protocol consisting of two parts was applied to respondents, the first consisting of sociodemographic data and the second by the Innovative Behavior scale in the context of I4.0. For data analysis, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), descriptive measures and standardization of scores were used. With regard to the scientific contributions of this study, it was possible to validate a scale for measuring innovative behavior, which was composed of six dimensions and 27 items in the final version. From the study of the relationship between the dimensions of the scale, five hypotheses of the total of eight proposals were confirmed. It was possible to verify that Support for Innovation by Leadership and the Work Environment positively influence Creativity in the practiced organization. In addition, it was found that Organizational Support, Work Environment and Organizational Changes influence the Search for Ideas. Also, based on the analysis of the level of innovative behavior of employees, it was found that both the intrinsic factors of individuals, such as Creativity and the Search for Ideas, and organizational factors, such as Support for Innovation through Leadership, Organizational Support, the Work Environment and Organizational Changes, must be improved and encouraged in the organization, in order to promote higher levels of innovative behavior, as these dimensions showed a moderate result compared to the standardization of scores. It is important to highlight that the research was carried out in an Industry 4.0 located in an emerging country, which is still in the development phase of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. |

Com a evolução das tecnologias e sistemas, as empresas precisam se adaptar rapidamente e encontrar soluções criativas para os desafios emergentes. Para tanto, o objetivo deste estudo consiste na elaboração e validação de uma escala para mensuração do Comportamento Inovador no contexto da Indústria 4.0. Sendo assim, a estrutura metodológica consiste em umapesquisa de natureza aplicada, descritiva e exploratória. Quanto à natureza dos dados, esta classifica-se como quantitativa, sendo a coleta realizada por meio de levantamento (survey), o qual foi aplicado com 476 colaboradores de uma indústria do ramo metalmecânico. Foi aplicado aos respondentes um protocolo de pesquisa composto por duas partes, sendo a primeira formada por dados sociodemográficos e a segunda pela escala de Comportamento Inovador no contexto da I4.0. Para análise dos dados foi utilizada a Modelagem de Equações Estruturais (SEM), medidas descritivas e a padronização dos escores. No que se refere às contribuições científicas deste estudo, foi possível validar uma escala para mensuração do comportamento inovador, a qual foi composta por seis dimensões e 27 itens na versão final. A partir do estudo da relação das dimensões da escala, foram confirmadas cinco hipóteses do total de oito propostas. Foi possível verificar que o Apoio à Inovação pela Liderança e o Ambiente de Trabalho influenciam positivamente a Criatividade na organização estudada. Além disso, foi verificado que o Suporte Organizacional, o Ambiente de Trabalho e as Mudanças Organizacionais influenciam a Busca por Ideias. Ainda, a partir da análise do nível do comportamento inovador dos colaboradores, foi constatado que tanto os fatores intrínsecos dos indivíduos, como a Criatividade e a Busca por Ideias, quanto os fatores organizacionais, como o Apoio à Inovação pela Liderança, o Suporte Organizacional, o Ambiente de Trabalho e as Mudanças Organizacionais, devem ser aprimorados e incentivados na organização, a fim de promover níveis mais elevados do comportamento inovador, pois estas dimensões apresentaram um resultado moderado frente a padronização dos escores.
