Resumo: This research, presented to the Graduate Program in Education of the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), line research School Practices and Public Policies LP2, as a requirement for obtaining the title of Master in Education, has the theme of research Ethics, Citizenship, Youth(s) in Public Policies . The objective of this research was examine the narratives of teachers and young in a public secondary school of Santa Maria/ RS, analyzing their understanding and the signification of the social role that the school has to build the juvenile ethos, explaining through their narratives the relevance (or not) of the interdisciplinarity of the concept of Ethics in the production of knowledge in the curriculum of secondary education for the young, promoting discussions that allow more dialogue of the intersubjective relationships in the school, between ethics and youth(s) in the construction of knowledge and in the promotion of the ethos, contributing with indicative to the elaboration and / or (re)construction of Educational Public Policies for Youth(s). It is worth remembering that one of the most studied and discussed themes in Philosophy concerns the concept and applicability of Ethics. Many scholars engage and are still involved with these issues, which contribute to building knowledge and ethos, as examples, we highlight Adolfo Sanchez Vasquez and Yves de La Taille. The interest on the subject was guided, mainly, on research into new configurations of human behavior and the ethical discourse of contemporary society, in particular, in the public high school. The methodology that was chosen for this dissertation was the oral thematic history, from the viewpoint of Meihy. In the theoretical-methodological field, this research is based on the following authors: Abramo; Aranha; Erickson; Fernando Savater; Luckesi; Mehihy; Severino; Spósito; La Taille; Thompson; Vázquez, and others. It was found that the young has difficulty in discerning between Ethics and Morals.

It was found that the young has difficulty in discerning between Ethics and Morals.Esta pesquisa, apresentada ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), na Linha de Pesquisa Práticas Escolares e Políticas Públicas - LP2, como requisito para a obtenção do título de Mestrado em Educação, tem a temática de investigação Ética, Cidadania, Juventude(s) nas Políticas Públicas . Objetivou-se, na pesquisa, analisar as narrativas de docentes e jovens de uma escola de Ensino Médio da Rede Pública de Santa Maria/RS, quanto a sua compreensão e significação do papel social que a escola possui para a construção do ethos juvenil, explicitando, através de suas narrativas, a relevância ou não da interdisciplinaridade do conceito de Ética na produção do conhecimento no currículo de Ensino Médio para o jovem, fomentando assim, discussões que possibilitem mais diálogo das relações intersubjetivas na escola, entre a ética e a juventude(s) na construção do conhecimento e na promoção do ethos e contribuindo com indicativos para a elaboração e/ou (re)construção de Políticas Públicas Educacionais para a Juventude(s). É válido lembrar que um dos temas mais estudados e comentados em Filosofia diz respeito ao conceito e aplicabilidade da Ética. Muitos estudiosos se dedicam e continuam envolvidos com estas questões, os quais contribuem para a construção do conhecimento e do ethos, como exemplo, destacamos Adolfo Sanchez Vásquez e Yves de La Taille. O interesse sobre a temática foi pautado, sobretudo, na investigação das novas configurações do comportamento humano e do discurso ético da sociedade contemporânea, em especial, no que diz respeito à Escola Pública de Ensino Médio. A Metodologia escolhida para a dissertação foi a História Oral Temática, na ótica de Meihy. A pesquisa embasou-se no campo teórico-metodológico com os seguintes autores: Abramo; Aranha; Erickson; Fernando Savater; Luckesi; Mehihy; Severino; Spósito; La Taille; Thompson; Vázquez, entre outros. Constatou-se que o jovem apresenta dificuldade no discernimento entre Ética e Moral.
