Resumo: The present research develops from the theme of the artist-researcher's own body construction through the context of contemporary art inserted in the pandemic period. This dissertation text aims at the elaboration of a practical-theoretical production and reflection that takes as its object of study the artist-researcher's own body. The research takes into account the context of the years 2020 to 2022, when the Covid-19 pandemic and social isolation impacted the realization process, leading the artist's own body to undergo adaptations regarding this new lived reality, making the search for understanding of how the artist's body is (re)constructed within the family and pandemic context, the research problem. Through the methodology of poietic research, the process of making the works took place together with theoretical reflection, where both impact each other. Thus, the practical production consisted of projects designed from the artist's experience in the context of a pandemic, from a perspective of exhibition in the digital environment, that is, aiming to do the research remotely. In this way, the artist's body is understood as a central reference for the research, as well as artists who use the theme of the body in the realization of their works, and authors who have the body and issues related to it as a basis for your discussions. The results achieved reveal a research that is based on the understanding of the artist's body as the construction of an individualized and socialized visuality within the family, placing the research in face of the conditions experienced in this historical period that humanity experiences.
