This is a descriptive field study with a qualitative approach. Performed with 14 pregnant women in prenatal monitoring, linked to four health centers of Santa Maria. The study's research question was: which elements leverage and complicate the prenatal care humanization according to the perspective of pregnant women assisted in the Primary Health Care? The objective was to know the elements that leverage and complicate the humanization of the prenatal care according to the perspective of pregnant women assisted in the Primary Health Care. The "Almanac" technique was used for the data production, which is a creativity and sensitivity one, combines with semi-structured private interviews; The data were submitted to the Operative proposal. The project was approved by the Research Ethics committee under the CAAE number 53941616.7.0000.5346.The dissertation resulted in two articles. The first article focuses on the elements linked to the humanization of prenatal care for pregnant women assisted in health centers and the inclusion of family during prenatal monitoring. The second article highlights the difficulties for the humanization of prenatal care according to the perspective of pregnant women assisted in the Primary Health Care. The emerging factors in their. The factors that emerged in the lines were imposing, the prejudice, the trial of health professionals, technical and fragmented care, focused on medicalization and in procedures, the long waiting time, the low attendance of health professionals and the short queries. It is considered that this study made it possible to meet some gaps and potential related to humanization of prenatal care. It is expected, therefore, to stimulate reflections and discussions that allow reconstruction and qualification of professional practice, based on humanization of care.
