Resumo: | This work focuses on investigating the necessary procedures for the safe performance of work at height in civil construction, focusing on the proper use of lifting equipment and individual protection. The current scenario of civil construction is undergoing changes driven by technological advances, although it is still delayed in comparison with other industrial sectors. The construction industry often employs workers with low education, and with the incorporation of advanced technologies, it is necessary to provide training to ensure the safe execution of work and the maintenance of safety. The study focused on activities such as the execution of cladding on facades, exploring the appropriate procedures for carrying out these activities at height. This involves the correct use of lifting and personal protective equipment to prevent accidents at work. The research was carried out through a bibliographical, descriptive, and exploratory approach, using a qualitative perspective. The analysis was made through the study of academic works and scientific articles available in the Google Scholar database, published between 2012 and 2022, which address the analysis of practical cases related to the subject. The analyzed studies presented the reality of construction sites and the importance of personal protective equipment for workers involved in activities that require lifting and working at heights. In summary, the study is dedicated to the understanding and sharing the best practices and procedures to ensure the safety of workers involved in lifting activities and work at height in civil construction, contributing to the training of professionals prepared to deal with these situations safely and efficiently. |

O cenário atual da construção civil está passando por mudanças impulsionadas pelo avanço tecnológico, embora ainda esteja atrasado em comparação com outros setores industriais. A indústria da construção frequentemente emprega trabalhadores com baixa escolaridade, e com a incorporação de tecnologias avançadas faz-se necessário fornecer treinamento para garantir a execução segura dos trabalhos e a manutenção da segurança. O estudo se concentrou em atividades como a execução de revestimento em fachadas, explorando os procedimentos adequados para a realização dessas atividades em altura. Isso envolve o uso correto de equipamentos de elevação e de proteção individual para evitar acidentes de trabalho. A pesquisa foi realizada através de uma abordagem bibliográfica, descritiva e exploratória, utilizando uma perspectiva qualitativa. Foram analisados trabalhos acadêmicos e artigos científicos disponíveis na base de dados Google Scholar, publicados entre 2012 e 2022, que abordam a análise de casos práticos relacionados ao tema. Os estudos analisados apresentaram a realidade dos canteiros de obras e a importância dos equipamentos de proteção individual para os trabalhadores envolvidos em atividades que requerem elevação e trabalho em altura.
