Resumo: In Rio Grande do Sul, the Eucalyptus commercial plantations are spread over various regions and occupy the most diverse soil compositions, many of which have good fertility, leading to high growth rates in the stands. The challenge, however, is improve the productivity in low quality sites where the soil fertility by its deficiency can generate environmental problems. In this context, the present work is inserted to increase the understanding of forest nutrition in these sites. This study aimed to characterize nutritionally a stand of hybrid Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus grandis planted in degraded area of the Pampa biome. The soil in the study area is classified as a Quartzarenic Neosoil. For the dendrometric parameters were installed at random, five sample plots. For sampling of biomass and nutrient stocks were felled twelve trees, three by diameter class. Total aboveground biomass was 36.24 Mg ha-1. The average distribution for biomass components was 62% wood, 20% branch, 11% leaf and 7% bark. The total stock of macro and micronutrients in aboveground biomass was 463.2 kg ha-1 and 20.0 kg ha-1, respectively. The largest amount of N was found in the leaves and the largest amounts of P and K was found in the wood. The highest values of biological utilization coefficient (CUB) were found in the wood component, with the exception of S, which was found in the component branches. The harvest of only the wood component involves the removal of 24.1% N; 33.9% P; 46,3 K; 10.9% Ca; 15.2% Mg; 48.1% S; 17.4% B; 42.4% Cu; 35.9% Fe; 12.9% Mn and 48.9% Zn, representing the simulation with a lower nutrient removal, which is the most suitable from the point of view of nutritional ecosystem sustainability.

O desafio, no entanto, consiste em melhorar a produtividade nos sítios de baixa qualidade, onde a fertilidade do solo, por sua deficiência, pode gerar inclusive problemas ambientais. Neste contexto, o presente trabalho se insere no sentido de aumentar a compreensão acerca da nutrição florestal nestes sítios. Este trabalho teve como objetivo caracterizar nutricionalmente um povoamento do híbrido Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus grandis plantado em área arenizada do bioma Pampa. O solo na área de estudo é classificado como Neossolo Quartzarênico. Dentro do talhão estudado foram instaladas, de forma aleatória, cinco parcelas amostrais para obtenção dos parâmetros dendrométricos. Para amostragem da biomassa e estoque de nutrientes foram derrubadas doze árvores, sendo três por classe diamétrica. A biomassa total acima do solo foi de 36,24 Mg ha-1. A distribuição média para os compartimentos foi de 62% madeira, 20% galho, 11% folha e 7% casca. O estoque total de macro e micronutrientes na biomassa acima do solo foi 463,2 kg ha-1 e 20,0 kg ha-1, respectivamente. A maior quantidade de N foi encontrada nas folhas e as maiores quantidades de P e K, na madeira. Os maiores valores do coeficiente de utilização biológica (CUB) foram encontrados no componente madeira, com exceção do S, que foi encontrado no componente galhos. A colheita de somente o componente madeira implica na remoção de 24,1% N; 33,9% P; 46,3 K; 10,9% Ca; 15,2% Mg; 48,1% S; 17,4% B; 42,4% Cu; 35,9% Fe; 12,9% Mn e 48,9% Zn, representando o cenário de menor remoção de nutrientes, entre os simulados, sendo portanto o mais indicado sob o ponto de vista da sustentabilidade nutricional do ecossistema.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências RuraisPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia FlorestalUFSMBrasilRecursos Florestais e Engenharia FlorestalAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSolos florestaisEcologia florestalNutrição florestalCiclagem de nutrientesForest soilsForest ecologyForest nutritionNutrient cyclingCNPQ::CIENCIAS AGRARIAS::RECURSOS FLORESTAIS E ENGENHARIA FLORESTALBiomassa e estoque de nutrientes em Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus grandis em área arenizada do bioma Pampa - RSBiomass and nutrients stock in eucalyptus urophylla x eucalyptus grandis in sandy soil of the Pampa biome - RSinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisSchumacher, Mauro Valdirhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/4577505947479643Lopes, Vicente Guilhermehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/2132033120487705Vogel, Hamilton Luiz Munarihttp://lattes.cnpq.br/9394478619534442http://lattes.cnpq.br/7965525557660301Frantz, Bernardo Corso50020000000360066a4f294-3de9-4e2f-a787-e09bce097e3bc0d3ca1e-7d07-49ef-a3c5-4a9a3c58610d09cf92fe-b083-4ebf-957d-a224b4184f73f37fdbcf-e704-42fe-9455-a3c52757a7d3reponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGEF_2016_FRANTZ_BERNARDO.pdfDIS_PPGEF_2016_FRANTZ_BERNARDO.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf1264681http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/17705/1/DIS_PPGEF_2016_FRANTZ_BERNARDO.pdf18be3ca9e9b1b387429e59b9aa425c1bMD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
