Rice represents great socioeconomic importance for the state of Rio Grande do Sul, allowing Brazil to be among the largest producers of the crop in the world. However, in recent years the rice sector has been experiencing problems of reduced profitability, mainly affecting small producers, who need alternatives to add value to their product and make their production more profitable. With this, the organic rice cultivation system appears as an alternative for improvement for producers most affected by the low profitability of this culture. However, a problem that limits the yield of organically produced rice is the supply of nutrients to the plants, mainly nitrogen, requiring information on sources and doses of fertilizers for the cultivation of organic rice. In view of the above, the objective of the research was to identify sources and doses of organic fertilizers that replace mineral fertilizers allowing income to the producer, in addition to evaluating the yield and quality of grains, as well as the availability of nutrients by these fertilizers. Two experimental tests were carried out, one of incubation, carried out in the laboratory and one in the field, carried out in two agricultural seasons.
