Sequência didática para o ensino de astronomia nas aulas de geografia nos sextos anos na rede municipal de ensino de Santa Maria - RS

Resumo: The main objective of this work was to develop a didactic sequence on knowledge of basic Astronomy, fundamental to Geography classes in the sixth year of Elementary education for the municipal network of Santa Maria, RS. Which mainly focused on the general characteristics of the Solar System, with the specific objectives being: to organize a textbook with a proposed didactic sequence for the sixth year; integrate the school with part of the educational equipment of the Cultural Route of the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). The prerogative of being more experiential and practical work was maintained, for this reason it was based on socializing teaching-learning procedures, such as group work, according to HAYDT (2006). The action was developed during Geography classes in 2022 and It was organized in the form of a didactic sequence throughout the third quarter of that year in a municipal school in Santa Maria. The project was developed both at the school and in its surroundings in the neighborhood and beyond its walls, even reaching the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). The activities of the didactic sequence consisted of: a Directed Review on the film The Martian (2015), the construction of models about the Solar System and a Tour Class (fieldwork) to the Cultural Route of the Federal University of Santa Maria with directional focus to the Planetarium, thus, each activity and its underlying tasks are one of the respective stages of the didactic sequence (DS). Therefore, the elaboration of the didactic sequence was completed and proved to be effective in the classroom and beyond, as it allowed expanding the teaching space beyond the school walls, connecting it to the University, through activities in the students' geographic space and expanding their citizenship education experience based on the search for scientific knowledge.

Através da criação de uma sequência didática engajadora e experiencial, busca-se integrar a escola à comunidade e à Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), ampliando os horizontes dos alunos e conectando-os ao conhecimento científico de forma significativa. O objetivo principal foi elaborar uma sequência didática sobre conhecimentos de Astronomia básica, essenciais às aulas de Geografia no sexto ano do Ensino Fundamental para a rede municipal de Santa Maria, RS. No qual focou-se, principalmente, nas características gerais do Sistema Solar, sendo os objetivos específicos: Identificar e interpretar informações que envolvam diferentes aspectos da natureza geográfica com relação ao tema Sistema Solar selecionando atividades pedagógicas experienciais para elas, valorizando as concepções cientificamente aceitas; Integrar a escola com parte dos equipamentos educacionais da Rota Cultural da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM) e Organizar uma compilação das atividades em um caderno didático para o sexto ano. Manteve-se a prerrogativa de ser um trabalho experiencial e prático, para isso baseou-se em procedimentos de ensino-aprendizagem socializantes, como o trabalho em grupo, segundo Haydt (2006). A ação foi desenvolvida durante as aulas de Geografia em 2022 e organizou-se na forma de uma sequência didática ao longo do terceiro trimestre daquele ano em uma escola municipal de Santa Maria. O projeto desenvolveu-se tanto na escola como no seu entorno no bairro e para além de seus muros indo, inclusive, ao encontro da UFSM. As atividades da sequência didática constituíram-se em: uma Resenha Dirigida sobre o filme Perdido em Marte (2015), a construção de maquetes sobre o Sistema Solar e uma Aula Passeio (saída de campo) à Rota Cultural da UFSM com foco direcional ao Planetário, assim, cada atividade e suas tarefas subjacentes são uma das respectivas etapas da sequência didática (SD). Esse trabalho buscou trazer alguns pontos teóricos que viessem ao encontro da prática efetuada, pois, a Geografia escolar pode ajudar muito, já que é Ciência de caráter integrador.
