Resumo: | The present research deals with a qualiquantitative investigation, developed in three public schools of complete basic education, located in the city of Uruguaiana-RS. The work was based on the investigation of the perception both of finalist students of the stages of elementary education II, and high school on the Pampa biome theme in order to verify how they perceive the environment in which they live by completing each of the stages of basic education (BE). Since BE educational guidelines dictate that content should be related to the regions in which students live, in addition to pointing out what skills and abilities must be acquired at the end of each stage of BE. Considering that the most used resource currently in Brazilian education is the school books (SB) due to accompanying the student of literacy until the end of elementary education, this material was also investigated, having selected the Science and Biology LDs most used in the municipality, in which the Pampa biome approach was analyzed. The results of the research indicate that there were no significant differences between the information of the three schools, however, indicate that students have a superficial perception of the Pampa biome because the answers are inadequate and fragmented and suggest a lack of contextualization in the school environment, where the contents do not catch the attention of the students that in turn are not perceived in their own context. When analyzed, the SB indicated that the Pampa was the least discussed Brazilian Brazilian biome, with summary information and indicate that the biome is for livestock and agriculture without pointing out important biological information. Allowing to infer that SB do not provide contextualisation, since they do not approach the Pampa in a satisfactory way. Finally, the study suggests that similar investigations should follow at all stages of teaching, as well as the accomplishment of interventions with the students and with the educators with continuous formations that propitiate a relation of greater knowledge on the subject, so that this results in a greater involvement of students with the natural environment in which they live. |

O trabalho teve como base a investigação da percepção de estudantes finalistas das etapas do ensino fundamental II (EF) e do ensino médio (EM) sobre o tema bioma Pampa a fim de verificar como estes, percebem o ambiente em que vivem ao concluírem cada uma das etapas do ensino básico (EB). Uma vez que as diretrizes educacionais do EB orientam que os conteúdos devem ser relacionados com as regiões em que os estudantes vivem, além de apontarem quais as habilidades e capacidades devem ser adquiridas ao final de cada etapa do EB. Tendo em vista, que o recurso mais utilizado atualmente na educação brasileira é o livro didático (LD), devido acompanhar o estudante da alfabetização até o final do ensino básico. O referido material também foi investigado, onde formam selecionados os LDs de ciências e de biologia mais utilizados no município e analisou-se a abordagem do bioma Pampa. Os resultados da pesquisa indicam que não houveram diferenças significativas entre as informações das três escolas, entretanto, indicam que os estudantes possuem uma percepção superficial do bioma Pampa devido as respostas serem inadequadas e fragmentadas e sugerem ausência de contextualização no ambiente escolar, onde os conteúdos não chamam a atenção dos estudantes que por sua vez não se percebem no seu próprio contexto. Os LDs quando analisados indicaram que o Pampa foi o bioma brasileiro menos abordado, com informações resumidas e indicam que o bioma serve para a pecuária e agricultura sem apontar informações biológicas importantes. Permitindo inferir que os LDs não propiciam a contextualização, uma vez que não abordam o Pampa de forma satisfatória. Por fim, o estudo sugere que investigações similares devem seguir em todas as etapas de ensino, assim como a realização de intervenções com os alunos e com os educadores com formações continuadas que propiciem uma relação de conhecimento maior sobre o tema, para que isso resulte em um maior envolvimento dos estudantes com o ambiente natural em que vivem.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências Naturais e ExatasPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Educação em Ciências: Química da Vida e SaúdeUFSMBrasilBioquímicaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessInvestigação científicaPercepção ambientalBioma PampaContexto escolarEnsinoCiênciasBiologiaLivro didáticoScientific investigationEnvironmental perceptionPampa biomeSchool contextTeachingScienceBiologySchool booksCNPQ::CIENCIAS BIOLOGICAS::BIOQUIMICAO bioma Pampa como temática de investigação no ensino básico no município de Uruguaiana - RSThe Pampa biome as a research theme in basic education in the Uruguaiana municipality of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazilinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisPessano, Edward Frederico Castrohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/2760002240063004Loreto, Elgion Lucio da Silvahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/6493669115018157Dinardi, Ailton Jesushttp://lattes.cnpq.br/0473681435809042http://lattes.cnpq.br/6246849412827476Castro, Luis Roberval Bortoluzzi200800000002600484b1918-9111-4568-b596-809386423eb8cb110ac0-8c36-4aa1-8e79-f0fddf78c01651e64840-2115-48e5-a1ae-149b2103bd04a2dd44e4-17e7-49db-b4ad-d99c4dd4bef9reponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGEC_2018_CASTRO_LUIS.pdfDIS_PPGEC_2018_CASTRO_LUIS.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf8682372http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/18612/1/DIS_PPGEC_2018_CASTRO_LUIS.pdf12178d62a3859de6049cd1d2ffc57490MD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
