Análise fractal da variabilidade da frequência cardíaca em pacientes com HIV-AIDS e síndrome da lipodistrofia

Background: Lipodystrophy syndrome in people living with HIV / AIDS is characterized by change in disposal of body fat with metabolic changes associated with the use of antiretroviral therapy. These changes are characteristic for the development of diseases such as diabetes, besides representing a risk for developing cardiovascular diseases Objective: Detrended fluctuation analysis of heart rate variability in patients with HIV / SLD - acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and lipodystrophy syndrome Method: treatment is a study carried out from August 2013 to August 2014 individuals diagnosed with AIDS treated at the Municipal Program referral service STD / AIDS São Bernardo do Campo City Hall (PM-DST / AIDS-PSBC). The selection was not preferred and included all patients of the service provided met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Individuals remained seated at rest at rest with spontaneous breathing for 20 minutes. Heart rate was recorded beat to beat. It conducted analysis of fractal properties of heart rate through Detrended Fluctuation Analysis -DFA in nonlinear method of heart rate variability. Results: The final sample was composed of 77 individuals and 40 in the group with immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and 37 in the group of patients with HIV and with lipodystrophy syndrome (HIV / SLD); The results showed no significance in the indicies of variability cardic frequency in linear analysis not being ?1 1.159 (95% CI 1.10-1.20) for HIV group and 1,215 (95% CI 1.01 to 1.21) for HIV group / SLD. Conclusion: The study found no association in the alpha values (?) between the groups, since the descriptive analysis was observed a greater dispersion of HIV Lipodystrophy group along the alpha exponent range (?) suggesting the inference that show poorer evolution prognosis notably in relative to the cardiocirculatory system.
