Resumo: The objective of this paper is to estimate the awareness of caregivers in regard to cerebrovascular risk factors being potentially treatable causes of Alzheimer's disease. We concluded that caregivers' awareness of the need to control cerebrovascular risk impacts positively on the lifestyles of patients with dementia due to Alzheimer's disease.
