Resumo: Introduction: the increasing use of breast silicone implants in aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries is noteworthy. Thereafter complications are more frequent. Treatment of implants rotations and displacements as well as relapse breast ptosis lead to additional costs. Prevention and treatment alternatives described in the literature are not conclusive. Objective: to develop a new silicone breast implant model. Methods: the Patent Canvas model was used in the development of the present study. Literature review and prior search of patents related to the subject was carried out. A description that contains characteristics and functions of a silicone breast implant capable of allowing attachment of its anterior and posterior faces to adjacent tissues was done. Results: the breast implant model comprises small devices, called pads, attached to the external surface of the silicone implant, positioned on the anterior and posterior regions, five in each one. The related patents found in the search of anteriority were described and compared with the study model, highlighting its advantages and disadvantages. The developed model provides an expectation of decrease in rotation and displacement as well as reduction in the possibility of recurrence of breast ptosis, avoiding costs with treatment of these complications. The fixation on the anterior face of the silicone breast implant and the fasteners called pads were not found in the literature reviewed. Conclusion: a new model of silicone breast implant was developed.

Método: utilizouse o Patente Canvas no desenvolvimento do modelo do presente estudo.
