ELEMENTS FOR A PEDAGOGY OF ORALITY AT SCHOOL

Resumo: | The problem of orality (and other semiotic systems, other languages) at school is part of a set of guidelines silenced or left historically in an accessory plan in the curriculum and school practices. In this essay, I propose to discuss this problem with the purpose of: a) qualifying the status of orality in the processes of schooling and in the historical course of formation of the teaching of Portuguese language in Brazilian schools; and b) discussing about the new places of orality in curricula and school practices, in the light of the most recent phenomenon of the insertion of Slam poetry - as communicative practice and cultural product of multimodal nature - between the school walls. |
