Resumo: Este ensaio, fruto da participação na I Jornada de literatura, artes e ensino, apresenta algumas breves reflexões sobre a validade e pertinência do estudo de literatura e de teoria literária em sala de aula, seja na universidade, seja no ensino médio e fundamental. Sem a pretensão de elaborar soluções ou respostas definitivas para questões que envolvem o estudo de teoria e do texto literário, nestas páginas arrisco-me à problematizar as possibilidades e a potência do encontro entre leitores, literatura e teoria literária rememorando, sobretudo, as relações de poder e prazer aí mobilizadas.Palavras-Chave: Literatura; Teoria Literária; Ensino; Poder. Abstract: This essay, result of a participation in the I Literature, arts and education Journey, presents some brief reflections about the validity and relevance of the literature and literary theory study in the classroom, at the university or the elementary school. Without intending to develop solutions or definitive answers to questions that involves the study of theory and literary text, I intend at the next pages to discuss the possibilities and the power of the relationship between  readers, literature and literary theory reminiscing, especially, the power and the pleasure that mobilized then.Keywords: Literature; Literary theory; Teaching; Power.
