Resumo: Starting from the assumption that poems and song lyrics inhabit semiotic universes, discursive and social practices and different spheres of communication, among other characteristics, this article proposes theoretical and practical approaches for the didactic-pedagogical treatment of song lyrics, taking advantage of them in all its possibilities resulting from the dialogue they establish with the constitutive elements of the song's genres, such as melody, harmony, rhythm, arrangement and the chosen musical style itself. To do so, we establish some relevant differences between the two manifestations and propose an analysis of Cotidiano, a composition by Chico Buarque, which we consider to be a model for demonstrating the intersemiotic dialogue between the lyrical and musical planes. The ideas presented here are based, in part, on previous reflections developed in articles by Conforte (2010; 2016; 2019) and Dolz & Schneuwly (1998/2016) and on reference works on the subject, but also on personal discussions held between the authors of this article, who, despite specific differences, converge on the understanding that the didactic approach to song lyrics not as an isolated element of the song of which it is a part, but as part of the semiotic complex that the song constitutes, is fundamental to teacher practice in the classroom.

Universidade Federal do Norte do Tocantins2023-05-18info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.ufnt.edu.br/index.php/entreletras/article/view/1644910.20873/uft2179-3948.2023v14n1p92-110EntreLetras; v. 14 n. 1 (2023): DOSSIÊ - GÊNEROS ORAIS NO/DO TRABALHO DOCENTE E NAS PRÁTICAS EDUCATIVAS; 92 - 1102179-3948reponame:EntreLetrasinstname:Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT)instacron:UFTporhttps://periodicos.ufnt.edu.br/index.php/entreletras/article/view/16449/21208Copyright (c) 2023 EntreLetrashttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessConforte, André NemiDolz, Joaquim2023-05-18T20:18:35Zoai:ojs2.ufnt.acessoacademico.com.br:article/16449Revistahttps://sistemas.uft.edu.br/periodicos/index.php/entreletras/indexPUBhttps://sistemas.uft.edu.br/periodicos/index.php/entreletras/oaientreletrasuft@gmail.com || dirpesq@ufnt.edu.br2179-39482178-9479opendoar:2023-05-18T20:18:35EntreLetras - Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT)false
