Resumo: The present article is situated in the scope of the Sociolinguistic, area of the Linguistic which the objective is to study the linguistic diversity and the Lexicography, understood here as an art, science or the technique of elaborating dictionaries. Our objective is to verify the representation of the diatopic variation of “somersault” in school dictionaries type 3, considering the survey performed in the Brazilian Linguistic Atlas Project, ALiB. The sample of our analysis considered the “kids games and amusements” field of study, chosen randomly and our analysis are focused, especially, in the Brazilian Amazon region.

Nosso objetivo é verificar a representatividade das variantes diatópicas de "cambalhota" em dicionários escolares de tipo 3 considerando-se o levantamento realizado no projeto Atlas Linguístico do Brasil, ALiB.
