TRABALHO, EMANCIPAÇÃO E OS DESAFIOS DA ECONOMIA SOLIDÁRIA EM MEIO AO CAPITALISMO

Resumo: Labor is a core human category and basic tool for transforming nature and for human maintenance. During the man’s history, work underwent radical transformations through practices that transited among social trades, occupation, employment, cooperation; and meanings ranging from punishment and shame to dignity, gift and socioeconomic emancipation. Currently, in the heart of capitalism, labor goes through gloomy periods in which productivity and profit overlap the individual and collective well-being. The production models involuted to the massification and castration of the worker’s individuality and identity, transforming it into a mere instrument that integrates the gears of capitalism. Faced with precariousness of work, poverty and the shadow of unemployment, solidarity economy emerges as an alternative in construction, which promotes participatory, fair, cooperative and collectivist labor practices. Despite the assumptions of justice and man’s emancipation, it is noticeable several contradictions between what is prescribed and the real practice of the solidarity economy, where pernicious influence of the conditions imposed by capitalism take place. Far from ruling out solidarity economy as an emancipatory alternative of work, such contradictions point out to the need of constant evaluation and evolution of these practices for building new social paradigms and economic models of fair and egalitarian production.

Apesar dos pressupostos de justiça e emancipação do homem, observam-se diversas contradições entre o prescrito e o real da economia solidária, constatando-se a influência deletéria das condicionalidades impostas pelo capitalismo. Longe de descartar a economia solidária (ES) como alternativa emancipatória de trabalho, tais contradições indicam a necessidade de constante avaliação e evolução dessas práticas para construção de novos paradigmas sociais e modelos econômicos de produção justos e igualitários.
