Resumo: This article aimed to promote the collective analysis of the work, from the point of view of librarians from a federal public educational institution. The study, of a qualitative character, sought to develop the proposal based on the practice of the Clinic of the Activity, with the realization of photo workshops. The participants produced images of the routine activities that they considered important in their work, after choosing which photos would lead to the reconstitution of their practices, a workshop was held to validate the analysis of their work. The dialogues were divided into five categories of analysis:the Integrated University Management System (SINGU);operating policy and internal regulations of the university library;purchase of books; turnover of the institution's servers; and coping with unforeseen events in the library. It was found that there is a process of changes in the institution with impacts on the procedures and work relationships, in which it is possible to observe the implementation of management procedures that require versatility, efficiency and productivity from the worker, overloading the servers in their daily tasks.Even in the face of the difficulties encountered, they mobilize collectively, allowing them to maintain the power to act on situations of impediment, recreating ways of doing the work.
