Resumo: The objective of this study was to understand the modes of organization and the working conditions of informal app motoboys during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Selection of motoboys from applications through social networks, obtaining personal, work and health data, and conducting interviews via Google Meet for thematic content analysis. Results: Of 13 subjects, most of them male (12), most (9) reported the occurrence of symptoms similar to those of Covid-19, but without seeking medical care and diagnosis in the period, in addition to the need for all of them to have to work to support the family. And of these, 5 motoboys of both sexes participated in the interviews.The following emerged in the interviews: little recognition for work, feelings of revolt, indignity and neglect towards application companies, in addition to fear and concern related to COVID-19, vulnerability and risks to health and safety, indicating precariousness at work. Conclusion: Interventions and improvements in working conditions are necessary, as well as guarantees of labor rights.

Métodos: Seleção de motoboys de aplicativos através de redes sociais, obtenção de dados pessoais, de trabalho e saúde, e realização de entrevistas via Google Meet para análise de conteúdo temática. Resultados: De 13 sujeitos, a maioria do sexo masculino (12), a maioria (9)  referiu a ocorrência de sintomas similares aos da Covid-19, porém sem buscar atendimento médico e diagnóstico no período, além da necessidade de todos de terem que trabalhar para garantir o sustento da família. E destes, participaram das entrevistas 5 motoboys de ambos os sexos. Surgiram nas entrevistas: pouco reconhecimento pelo trabalho, sentimentos de revolta, indignidade e descaso diante das empresas-aplicativos, além do medo e preocupação relacionados à COVID-19,  vulnerabilidade e os riscos à saúde e segurança, indicando precariedade no trabalho.
