Resumo: | The objective of this study was to analyze in the scientific literature the influence of the cultural transformation of the indigenous population and its influence on health in the face of the COVID 19 pandemic. A bibliographic survey was carried out on the Virtual Health Library (VHL) website, using the descriptors: “culture in health ”AND“ indigenous population ”AND“ COVID 19 pandemic ”. 13 articles were selected that met the inclusion criteria. From the studies analyzed, it was noted that indigenous peoples suffer a lot of cultural and health influences from the surrounding society, due to the intense contact with white men. Thus, the emergence of diseases until then did not exist among them: parasitic, pulmonary infectious diseases (tuberculosis, pneumonia, flu), STI / AIDS and COVID 19. |
