Resumo: This article brings a reflection concerningwhat it is delineated as professional identityof the journalists. The analysis has left of aresearch carried through for the CPCTECA/USP in 2021, and whose corpus iscomposed for answers of the professionalsof all the States, that work in the journalismand areas correlatas. The relation of the validanswers pointed that more than the half ofthe respondents declared if to identify asjournalist; information that comes folloied,throughout the research, for the declarationof the function and the activity that carrythrough as journalists, reason that in tookthem to this reflection. For in such a way, wepresent the data of the research, argue whatone understands for professional, entailedidentity the values and, finally, we makesome balances for a reason or purpose theconclusion.

El análisis se ha ido de unainvestigación llevado a través para el CPCTECA/USP en 2021, y que recopilación secompone para las respuestas de losprofesionales de todos los estados, quetrabajan en el periodismo y los correlatas delas áreas. La relación de las respuestas válidasseñaló que más que la mitad de losrespondedores declararon si para identificarcomo periodista; la información que vienefolloied, a través de la investigación, para eldeclaración de la función y de la actividadque llevan a través como periodistas, razonaeso adentro los llevó a esta reflexión. Para detal manera, presentamos los datos de lainvestigación, discutimos lo que entiendeuno para profesional, identidad exigida losvalores y, finalmente, nosotros hacemosalgunos equilibrios por una razón o unpropósito la conclusión.Este artigo traz uma reflexão acerca do quese delineia como identidade profissionaldos jornalistas. A análise parte de umapesquisa realizada pelo CPCT-ECA/USP em2021, e cujo corpus é composto porrespostas dos profissionais de todos osEstados, que trabalham no jornalismo e emáreas correlatas. A relação das respostasválidas apontou que mais da metade dosrespondentes declarou se identificar comojornalista; informação que vemacompanhada, ao longo da pesquisa, peladeclaração da função e da atividade querealizam como jornalistas, razão que noslevou a essa reflexão.
