Resumo: This article presents research results about pedagogical resources used by Rede Globo's program Bem Estar to teach the public how to take care of the body. The text uses content analysis. Adopts the concept of biopower to think the body in the political, not aesthetic.The manuscript uses interdisciplinary technique to associate themes of Education with Social Communication. It concludes that the program's discourse is compatible with biopower because, through techniques that educate the public to the machine body, it helps to build economically active bodies.

El texto usa análisis de contenido. Adopta el concepto de biopoder para pensar el cuerpo en lo político, no en lo estético.El manuscrito utiliza técnica interdisciplinaria para asociar temas de las Ciencias Humanas a la Comunicación Social. Concluye que el discurso del Bienestar es compatible con el biopoder porque, por medio de técnicas que educan al público al cuerpo máquina, ayuda a construir cuerpos económicamente activos.Este artigo apresenta resultados de pesquisa sobre os recursos pedagógicos usados pelo programa Bem Estar, da Rede Globo, para ensinar o público a cuidar no corpo. O texto usa análise de conteúdo. Adota o conceito de biopoder para pensar o corpo no âmbito político, não estético. O manuscrito recorre a técnica interdisciplinar para associar temas das Ciências Humanas à Comunicação Social.
