MEMORIES AND NARRATIVES: the community impulse of the Center for Study and Research on Rehabilitation (CEPRE/FCM/Unicamp) through oral history

Resumo: This article presents the results of a research on the trajectory and the community services of the Center for Studies and Research in Rehabilitation "Prof. Dr. Gabriel O. S. Porto "(CEPRE), which integrates the Faculty of Medical Sciences of UNICAMP. Through oral narratives of professors and other professionals who have been responsible for the constitution and development of CEPRE, the history and the memory of the Center is discussed, especially considering its initial definition as an institute focused on activities of community health service. The testimonies confirmed that individual experiences are constitutive of the social fabric and that oral history is an effective method to deal with the trajectory of institutions.

S. Porto” (CEPRE), que integra la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas de UNICAMP. Por medio de narrativas orales de docentes y otros profesionales que fueron y son responsables por la constitución y el desarrollo del CEPRE, se discute la historia y la memoria del Centro, principalmente considerando su definición inicial como un instituto volcado a actividades de prestación de servicios servicio en salud a las comunidades. Los testimonios confirmaron las experiencias individuales como constitutivas del tejido social y la historia oral como un método eficaz para lidiar con la trayectoria de instituciones.O artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa sobre a trajetória e a atuação comunitária do Centro de Estudos e Pesquisas em Reabilitação “Prof. Dr. Gabriel O. S. Porto” (CEPRE), que integra a Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da UNICAMP. Por meio de narrativas orais de docentes e outros profissionais que foram e são responsáveis pela constituição e pelo desenvolvimento do CEPRE, discute-se a história e a memória do Centro, principalmente considerando-se sua definição inicial como um instituto voltado a atividades de prestação de serviço em saúde às comunidades.
