THE RECONSTRUCTION OF REALITY IN TELEJOURNALISM: an analysis of coproduction through WhatsApp

Resumo: This article analyzes the changes caused in TV journalism through the participation of co-producers (VIZEU; SIQUEIRA, 2009), especially by the images that arrive through the WhatsApp mobile application. The objective was to understand how journalists select these images and operate actions to do the construction of the reality on TV. For this, was made a content analysis of Bom Dia Paraíba, from TV Cabo Branco, an affiliate of Rede Globo, in João Pessoa, Paraíba, and were applied semi-structured interviews with TV news editors. We find that the journalists operate actions of reconstruction of the reality joining the reality cut previously by the coproducers, their own experiences and knowledge and the journalistic practices.

Se realizó un análisis de contenido del Bom Dia Paraíba, de la TV Cabo Branco, afiliada de la Rede Globo, en João Pessoa, Paraíba, y se aplicaron entrevistas abiertas semiestructuradas con editores del telediario. Constatamos que los periodistas operan acciones de reconstrucción de la realidad uniendo el recorte de la realidad hecho previamente por los coproductores, las propias experiencias y conocimientos y las prácticas periodísticas.O presente artigo analisa as mudanças provocadas no telejornalismo pela participação dos coprodutores (VIZEU; SIQUEIRA, 2009), especialmente, através do envio de imagens pelo aplicativo de celular WhatsApp. O objetivo foi compreender de que forma os jornalistas selecionam essas imagens e operam ações de construção da realidade na TV. Foi feita uma análise de conteúdo do Bom Dia Paraíba, da TV Cabo Branco, afiliada da Rede Globo, em João Pessoa, na Paraíba e foram aplicadas entrevistas abertas semiestruturadas com editores do telejornal.
