CHOOSE PROFESSIONAL AND FUTURE PROSPECTS IN TEACHING: an analysis from the subjectivity of teachers

Resumo: | ABSTRACT This work includes research on the production of subjective senses of teachers against the profession adversity and presents the results next goal: identify expectations, achievements and frustrations of teachers regarding their career choices and future prospects. The link between these two approaches is in a challenging issue given the complexity of the educational context, enabling a deeper understanding of the process of teaching learning and professional development. The subject is approached from the perspective of the Theory of Subjectivity, González Rey, and the subjectivity defined as a complex system, singular and contradictory, which is in the course of each person's life story and is in constant motion from the continuous and procedural production of subjective senses. The research was guided from the Qualitative Epistemology assumptions, proposed by the same author, in which the empirical and theoretical construction is characterized by constructive and interpretative nature of the Information, the dialogic process and the legitimacy of individual cases as knowledge production instance scientific. The participants were eleven elementary school teachers of a public school in Palmas-TO. The methodological procedures were observations, interviews, group discussions, text production and complement phrases. Regarding the professional choice of teachers, we identified three reasons: family influences, lack of job opportunities in other areas and personal choice by the magisterium. Such reasons articulated in a complex way and dialectic with the future prospects in the profession: part of the group would like to act in other areas in education, some felt-made and others wanted to change jobs. We conclude that the process of career choice and the uniqueness of life history are factors that also influence the way teachers experience their daily lives and how to position themselves against the personal choice to stay or give up teaching. |

La relación entre estos dos enfoques se encuentra en una cuestión difícil dada la complejidad dei contexto educativo, lo que permite una comprensión más profunda dei proceso de ensehanza aprendizaje y el desarrollo profesional. El tema se aborda desde la perspectiva de la Teoria de la subjetividad, González Rey, y la subjetividad se define como un sistema complejo, singular y contradictoria, que está en el curso de la historia de vida de cada persona y está en constante movimiento de la continua y la producción procesal de sentidos subjetivos. La investigación fue guiada desde los supuestos cualitativa Epistemología, propuesto por el mismo autor, en el que la construcción teórica y empírica se caracteriza por la naturaleza constructiva y de interpretación de la información, el proceso dialógico y la legitimidad de los casos individuales como ejemplo la producción de conodmiento científica. Los participantes fueron once maestros de primaria de una escuela pública en Palmas-A. Los procedimientos metodológicos fueron observaciones, entrevistas, grupos de discusión, la producción de textos y frases complemento. En cuanto a la elección profesional de los docentes, se identificaron tres razones: las influencias familiares, la falta de oportunidades de trabajo en otras áreas y la elección personal por el magistério. Tales razones articuladas de una manera compleja y dialéctica con las perspectivas de futuro en la profesión: parte dei grupo les gustaría actuar en otras áreas de la educación, algunos sintieron a medida y otros querían cambiar de trabajo. Llegamos a la conclusión de que el proceso de elección de carrera y la singularidad de la historia de vida son factores que también influyen en la manera en que los maestros experimentan su vida cotidiana y cómo se posicionan en contra de la elección personal de permanecer o abandonar la ensehanza.O presente trabalho integra uma pesquisa sobre a produção de sentidos subjetivos dos professores frente às adversidades da profissão e apresenta resultados do seguinte objetivo: identificar expectativas, realizações e frustrações dos professores referentes à sua escolha profissional e perspectivas de futuro. A articulação entre esses dois enfoques constitui-se em um tema desafiador considerando-se a complexidade do contexto educacional, possibilitando aprofundar a compreensão sobre o processo de aprendizagem docente e desenvolvimento profissional. O tema é abordado na perspectiva da Teoria da Subjetividade, de González Rey, sendo a subjetividade definida como um sistema complexo, singular e contraditório, que se constitui no curso da história de vida de cada pessoa e está em constante movimento a partir da contínua e processual produção de sentidos subjetivos. A pesquisa orientou-se a partir dos pressupostos da Epistemologia Qualitativa, proposta pelo mesmo autor, na qual a construção empírica e teórica se caracteriza pelo caráter construtivo-interpretativo das informações, pelo processo dialógico e pela legitimação dos casos singulares como instância de produção do conhecimento científico. Participaram da pesquisa onze professores do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola pública de Palmas–TO. Os procedimentos metodológicos adotados foram observações, entrevistas, discussões em grupos, produção de texto e complemento de frases. Em relação à escolha profissional dos professores, identificamos três motivos: influências da família, falta de oportunidades de trabalho em outras áreas e opção pessoal pelo magistério. Tais motivos articulavam-se de maneira complexa e dialética com as perspectivas de futuro na profissão: parte do grupo gostaria de atuar em outras áreas na educação, alguns sentiam-se realizados e outros queriam mudar de profissão. Concluímos que o processo de escolha profissional e a singularidade da história de vida são fatores que também interferem na maneira como os professores vivenciam seu cotidiano e como se posicionam frente à opção pessoal de permanecer ou desistir da docência.
