Rendimento e ácidos graxos das sementes de Calophyllum Brasiliensis Cambess no sul do Tocantins

Resumo: The planning of forest production has to facilitate the maximum use for the forest owner and, also, for the forest to have other multiple functions complementary to wood production. Thus, information on growth trends is available, allowing for the qualification and quantification of the future behavior of forest production and, with this, the delineation of intervention strategies in accordance with production expectations. The study was carried out with the objective of determining the seed yield and the chemical characteristics of the oil from the seeds of calophyllum brasiliensis, where the water and oil content was determined. Seeds were harvested in March 2021 in the soil in a commercial planting of the species (in a total area of 797.3 ha) with an average moisture content of 63.84%. An average number of 6,187 seeds (considering 16.73% of unviable seeds) is necessary to produce a liter of oil with 35.64% of husk. The average content of major fatty acids in guanandi oil are monounsaturated oleic (51.89%) polysaturated linoleic (25.94%) and monounsaturated palmitic (14.56%), being considered as having high acidity explained by enzymatic hydrolysis, characteristic of seeds with high water content and presence of fungi during contact with the soil. The results indicate use for the pharmaceutical industry and for the production of renewable energy.

Têm-se, então, informações sobre as tendências de crescimento permitindo qualificar e quantificar o comportamento futuro da produção florestal e, com isto, delinear estratégias de intervenções de acordo com as expectativas de produção. O estudo foi realizado com o objetivo da deteminação do rendimento das sementes e das caracterísitcas quimicas do óleo das sementes de calophyllum brasiliensis onde foi determinado o teor de água e de óleo. As sementes foram colhidas em março de 2021 no solo em plantio comercial de espécie (em área total de 797,3 ha ) com teor médio de umidade de 63,84%. Sendo necessário um número médio de 6.187 frutos ( considerando 16,73 % de frutos inviáveis) para produzir um litro de óleo com 35,64% de casca.
