Resumo: | The purpose of this narrative review is to offer an international overview of the situation of people with Eating Disorders and COVID-19 and what adaptations may be made in some locations. Twenty articles were found on the topic, with a protocol proposal; a descriptive guide of suggestions on what can be done at home, remotely, during this period; and the others discussed the negative impacts on the symptoms of these disorders. This review verifies the need for specific care and adaptations to be made in the context of eating disorders in this pandemic period. |

This review verifies the need for specific care and adaptations to be made in the context of eating disorders in this pandemic period.El propósito de esta revisión narrativa es ofrecer un panorama internacional de la situación de las personas con algún tipo de trastorno alimentario y que han contraído COVID-19 y qué adaptaciones se pueden hacer para afrontar este trastorno en esta circunstancia. Se encontraron veinte artículos sobre el tema, siendo una propuesta de protocolo, una guía descriptiva de sugerencias sobre lo que se puede hacer en casa, de forma remota, durante este período; los otros artículos discutieron los impactos negativos del COVID-19 en los síntomas de los trastornos alimentarios. Se concluye que es necesario tener una atención específica para estos pacientes, y se deben hacer adaptaciones para que puedan enfrentar la pandemia con una mejor calidad de vida. O objetivo desta revisão narrativa é oferecer um panorama internacional da situação de pessoas com algum tipo de transtorno alimentar e que tenham contraído a COVID-19 e que adaptações podem ser feitas para o enfrentamento desse transtorno nessa circunstância. Foram encontrados 20 artigos sobre o tema, sendo uma proposta de protocolo, um guia descritivo de sugestões sobre o que pode ser feito em casa, de maneira remota, nesse período; os demais artigos discorreram sobre os impactos negativos da COVID-19 na sintomatologia dos transtornos alimentares.
