Sexual violence against children is considered a serious health problem, which has a number of negative consequences for the lives of victims. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate have sociodemographic indicators of children attending a referral program for victims of sexual violence, as well as to know the characteristics that concern such aggressions. Socioeconomic questionnaire and standard interview script were used. Parents and/or guardians who participated in the research provided information on 13 children, aged between six and 11 years old (M= 7,86). The results allowed the identification of risk factors that may be associated with the practice of sexual violence, such as: reduced parental schooling, low socioeconomic status of the family, abusive family relationships, and gender profile.
