Cartography of an encounter between social assistance and health services in pandemic times

This work aims to revisit an encounter in a cartographic way, which was carried out between a reference center on social assistance (CRAS) and a university service of extended health attention (PAAS). This partnership was developed in order to undertake listening and health care of families from a community in situation of social vulnerability located in São Leopoldo, RS, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The practice was built up for a period when on-site attendances in the CRAS were limited and PAAS activities should be on-line implemented. In this cartography we aim at giving visibility to the impacts of the encounters on the partner teams amongst themselves and with the families cared by the project, as well as COVID-19 pandemic impact on the community. We used the cartographic method, an exploratory and qualitative approach, in order to give pathways to express feelings and affections produced through an online environment on the basis of the context of social distancing. We believe on the relevance of writing about this encounter between social assistance and health services, with the intention of sharing our affections of the work process in the territory, highlighting the life strength in a moment full of anguishes and uncertainties..
