Folksonomies in Jair Bolsonaro's campaign on YouTube: content analysis of the first round of the 2018 Brazilian elections

Resumo: This work aims to analyze the hashtags and hidden tags inserted in the videos of Jair Bolsonaro on YouTube published during the campaign period of the first round of the 2018 Brazilian presidential elections, based on theories about internet and election campaigns, YouTube, folksonomies and types of election campaign. The research is characterized as documentary, mixed methods and computer assisted. Analysis show that hashtags were practically not mobilized by Bolsonaro's YouTube campaign, but hidden tags, visible only in HTML code, were widely used. Among these tags, those that refer to people, political parties and political agendas stood out.

A pesquisa se caracteriza como documental, de métodos mistos e assistida por computador. As análises demonstram que as hashtags praticamente não foram mobilizadas pela campanha de Bolsonaro no YouTube, mas as tags ocultas, visíveis apenas no código HTML, foram amplamente utilizadas.
