Latin America: identity and social constructions in Spanish language textbooks projects of the 2018 PNLD

Resumo: | This paper intends to analyze the Latin-American social identities and groups representations in the projects suggested by the nine textbooks from the three collections approved in the 2018 Textbook National Program - PNLD (Cercanía Joven, Sentidos en lengua española and Confluencia). The research is inserted in the theoretical field of Applied Linguistics, starting from the epistemological categories of decoloniality and interculturality. The methodology followed is from qualitative and documental by descriptive method and interpretivist natures. The results from the research reveal that the analyzed projects collections positively contribute to the construction of non-marginalized Latin-American identities, as they allow observing the existence of works related to a decolonial and intercultural view. Besides, they suggest that the textbooks themselves promote reflections and debates concerning the fight against the inequalities and in favor of the differences, as it is intended by the Applied Linguistics in the contemporaneity. |

A pesquisa está inserida no campo teórico da Linguística Aplicada, partindo das categorias epistemológicas da decolonialidade e da interculturalidade. A metodologia seguida é de natureza qualitativa e documental por método descritivo e interpretativista.
