Resumo: | In the context of cyberspace, we realize that a large number of young people, especially readers of literary works "popular", is producing fiction’s stories based on her favorite works; these are the fanfictions. We also observed that, in addition to the fanfiction discursive practice, there is another practice that was formed around it, namely: manuals of how to make fanfictions. In these manuals, we find several tips on how to produce fanfiction, and the recurring them as guidelines: the good use of the Portuguese language; presentation of narrative elements, work with the language (description); the reading. In this article, we discuss about the ethos built on that practice when deals with the use of the Portuguese language and, therefore, we will consider the notion of ethos developed by Dominique Maingueneau (2008b). The corpus of our research is basically of texts that call themselves as "manuals of how to make fanfictions", found on websites and blogs related to fanfictions, and normative texts present on the blog Liga dos Betas, as also direct the production of fanfictions. |

The corpus of our research is basically of texts that call themselves as "manuals of how to make fanfictions", found on websites and blogs related to fanfictions, and normative texts present on the blog Liga dos Betas, as also direct the production of fanfictions.
