Resumo: The purpose of this article is to produce a contrasting analysis and study of the strategies occurring the transferring between Arabic and Portuguese relativized structures with the objective of promoting the learning of the relatives of the Brazilian Portuguese by Arabic speakers. Such syntactic aspect creates problems during the process of acquisition of Portuguese as foreign language for speakers of Arabic language; thus, the research's purpose is to bring a reflection on the teaching of standard structure, in order to avoid the influence of the mother language upon the target language.
