Aesthetics of everyday life and interculturality: an experience in post-graduate studies

This study aims to share an experience report that related the themes Aesthetics of Everyday Life and Interculturality. This proposal was carried out in the elective discipline Art and Aesthetics in Education, in a post-graduate program in education, from a university in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. The proposal elaborated as part of the activities of the curricular component was organized by the academics of the course. It was proposed as a theoretical contribution the discussion about the Aesthetics of Everyday Life in Education related to the concept of Interculturality. The aim was to combine theory and practice in proposals involving art and aesthetics. The experience led the participants to have a dialogue and to a reflection. It was observed the relevance of the theme in school curriculum, in the university, and the social responsibility of recognizing and aggregating every form of cultural expression in the lives of the university students in the area of Education.
