“I’m not as you think”: life-voices of LGBTQIA+ students

Resumo: | The article is the result of research that analyzed, from the perspective of LGBTQIA+ students, how gender identifications are reproduced, in the context of a state school in southeastern Pará. Methodologically, under the guidance of interdisciplinary contributions, especially from Oral History, dialogic interviews were carried out with the research interlocutors, whose identities were preserved for ethical reasons. The main analytical categories of analysis observed in “The Discovery of the Body, family and School” received interpretative essays. The results reaffirm the importance of the school, as one of the strategic and privileged spaces, for the transformation of behaviors and promotion of debates, visibility, and critical participation of LGBTQIA+ students. |

The results reaffirm the importance of the school, as one of the strategic and privileged spaces, for the transformation of behaviors and promotion of debates, visibility, and critical participation of LGBTQIA+ students.El artículo es el resultado de una investigación que analizó, desde la perspectiva de estudiantes LGBTQIA+ (Lesbianas, Gays, Bisexuales, Transexuales, Travestis, Queer, Intersexuales, Asexuales...), cuáles y cómo (re)producen identificaciones de género en el contexto de una escuela estatal en el sureste de Pará. Metodológicamente, bajo la guía de aportes interdisciplinarios, especialmente la Historia Oral. Se realizaron entrevistas a los interlocutores de la investigación, cuyas identidades reales se preservan por razones éticas. Las principales categorías de análisis observadas “EL DESCUBRIMIENTO DEL CUERPO, LA FAMILIA Y LA ESCUELA” recibieron un ejercicio interpretativo. Los resultados reafirman la importancia de la escuela, como uno de los espacios estratégicos y privilegiados, para la transformación de comportamientos y, en consecuencia, la promoción de debates, visibilización y participación crítica de los estudiantes LGBTQIA+.O artigo é resultado de pesquisa que analisou, pela perspectiva de estudantes LGBTQIA+, quais e como se reproduzem identificações de gênero, no contexto de uma escola da rede pública estadual do sudeste do Pará. Metodologicamente, sob orientações de aportes interdisciplinares, em especial da História Oral, foram realizadas entrevistas dialógicas com os interlocutores da pesquisa, cujas identidades são preservadas por questões éticas. As principais categorias analíticas observadas “a descoberta do corpo, família e escola” receberam ensaios interpretativos.
