The emergency of collectives of black students and the fight against epistemological scarcity

Resumo: This article is an excerpt from the Master's research in Social Policies, carried out at the Federal University of Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro – UENF, which sought to carry out a survey of black student collectives from public universities in the State of Rio de January. One of the stages of this survey was the realization of a State of the Art, constituted from research carried out in digital repositories of theses and dissertations, which we will focus on in this article. The State of the Art raised some discussions about the context of the emergence of collectives of black university students, the participation of these collectives in the struggles for racial quota policies and their importance in the struggles for new epistemologies in the training process professional and scientific aspects of Higher Education, which we will emphasize.

Este levantamento teve como uma de suas etapas a realização de um Estado da Arte, constituído a partir de pesquisas realizadas em repositórios digitais de teses e dissertações, o qual focalizaremos neste artigo.
