Resumo: The main objective of this essay is to inventory and, at the same time, to reflect on the urban problems that have taken over the Brazilian social scene and, in particular, on the role that education workers, committed to social and popular movements, may be called upon to play in this framework of structural crisis that the capitalist society is going through and its developments in countries like Brazil.
