Resumo: Este artigo empreende uma análise sobre o texto Pequeno organon para o teatro, de Bertolt Brecht, destacando a retomada intertextual que efetua do Organon, de Aristóteles, e o Novum organon, de Bacon. É enfatizada a estrutura dialética do escrito e as considerações que faz sobre a cultura clássica alemã, especialmente a noção de diversão, prazer e jogo no pré-romantismo alemão. PALAVRAS-CHAVE:Brecht; antiaristo-telismo; distanciamento. ABSTRACT Focusing Brecht's Kleines Organon für das Theater, this article details its intertextual dialogism with the Organon, of Aristotle, and Novum Organon, of Francis Bacon. The dialectic frame of the text is emphasi-zed as well the dialogical dimension that sustains with pre-romanticism and German classical culture, noted the play dimension. KEYWORDS:Brecht; anti-Aristotlelian drama; alienation effect.
