Resumo: I believe that a survey of publishers, authors and popular books helps to think about the topic. Thus, I came to the concept of culture of borders, which includes several segments of the universe of books and popular publishing. We tackled gradations and limits, urban peripheries, other topics, unconventional circuits, recurrent imaginaries ,and unexpected conjunctions. Here continues the Culture of borders project, which defines without defining and leads us to think that borders are a cosmopolitan poetics. This brief testimony on the history of reading and publishing, aims to bring up situations, topics, themes, and concepts developed during our career and in our works in progress. Desse modo, cheguei à noção de cultura das bordas, que inclui vários segmentos do que compreende o universo do livro e da edição popular. Gradações e limites estiveram em questão, periferias urbanas, outros temas, circuitos não convencionais, imaginários recorrentes, conjunções inesperadas. O projeto Cultura das bordas, que define sem definir e nos leva a pensar, como disse antes, que bordas é uma poética cosmopolítica. Este breve depoimento sobre história da leitura e da edição pretende trazer à baila situações, tópicos, temas conceitos e trabalhos desenvolvidos durante a minha carreira e em desenvolvimento.
